Guests at Chancellor's Dinner 2019

Connect. Network. Learn. Celebrate

Gain meaningful experiences and develop connections through alumni events

Alumni events are designed to help you stay connected in the University community, enhance your career and expand your knowledge long after you graduate.

Opportunities include career-enhancing workshops, provocative panel discussions, global network gatherings, class reunions and anniversary celebrations.

All the events are an opportunity to network and establish mutually beneficial relationships with other alumni.

We love welcoming alumni to campus and special events. For the time being, due to the pandemic, alumni events will be delivered online.

Come alone or bring a friend. A warm welcome awaits you.

Chancellor's Dinner

The annual Chancellor's Dinner is a prestigious event where alumni mix and mingle with University leadership, along with industry and community VIPs.

In 2019, Chancellor Karen Blackett OBE invited three special guests to join her in Portsmouth: comedian and co-founder of Comic Relief, Sir Lenny Henry CBE; founder of the MOBO Awards, Kanya King CBE; and technology entrepreneur, Tom Ilube CBE.

Networking

At alumni networking events, you'll connect with fellow graduates, academic experts, business professionals and community leaders. More than a ticket holder, you're a valued participant at these events.

Come along and be inspired by alumni who are making waves in Portsmouth and beyond and to meet the bright minds coming out of the University.
